On the occasion of the research week, an event was held by the Sharif University of Technology (14-18 December 2019) including the panel discussion and exhibition. The chemical and petroleum engineering department of the Sharif University of Technology was the host for companies such as ESTD, NIOC, IOEC, NDCO, MHPC, ME and etc., presenting their capabilities, advantages, and activities in the oil & gas industry.
As the exhibition was proceeding, a panel discussion entitled "Reasons for Developing an In-house Reservoir Simulator" was held in the conference room of the chemical and petroleum department of the Sharif University of Technology by ESTD Co., in-which, after presenting a brief history of the company, the session was continued by mentioning RETINA’s computational features and advantages. While expressing the advantages of this product, the necessity of the use of inhouse reservoir simulator was discussed and the questions of the audience were responded.
In the end, a proposal was made to increase the cooperation between ESTD Co. and universities to create technical interactions and exchange of ideas of oil engineering experts.
